Andrew’s Wedding last week at The Courtyard

Jennifer & Greg were married at The Courtyard Restaurant just over a week ago.  This has been a big year for Ottawa winter weddings and it has been a joy to take part in these events. The difference that I have noticed while shooting a winter wedding is that the focus comes off the weather, the scenery, the stuff, etc, and seems to migrate almost completely on to the people.  Within 10 seconds of Jessica and I walking into Greg’s place in the west end, we knew that it was going to be “one of those” weddings. “One of those”  weddings is one where everyone treats you like one of the gang from the start. These always seem to be the most down to earth people with lots of very close family and friends, and really sweet kids. People like this come from great parents and there was no shortage of them either. To make things even more warm and perfect, Miranda from the Courtyard was on hand invisibly making things right along the way. As if that were not enough, it was great to see Bryce Healey performing the ceremony. I had the pleasure of shooting Bryce’s wedding 2 years ago and knew how great of a person he is. The ceremony was perfect as expected. For the full blog post on Andrew’s go <here>

Cindy & Andrew’s Cinematic Wedding Trailer, July 15th, 2013

We couldn’t have had more fun being part of Cindy & Andrew’s wedding, it was our first Egyptian Wedding here in Ottawa.

Cindy and Andrew wanted an upbeat cinematic wedding trailer which showed both their passionate and fun side, so we mashed 2 songs together. We think it worked out well !

Their beautiful smiles and laughter were infectious…and the FUN lasted way into the wee hours of the night.

Cinematic Destination Wedding Film – Reno Video Productions

We don’t often post our Cinematic Wedding Films on social media or even on our website, mostly because they are quite long. We decided to share this wedding film because we spent one week with the couple and wedding party in the Dominican Republic.

We will do destination weddings anywhere in the world,  if our schedule allows us.

The cost ends up approximately the same as a full local Ottawa Wedding.

Better yet, because we are so passionate about what we do, we don’t restrict our coverage of filming the couple to a schedule, but tend to go with the flow of what is going on during the week. So you know that means, lots of beautiful footage for us to use for our cinematic wedding films and wedding trailers.

Michelle & Danny’s wedding trailer was ready three days after they came home, and this cinematic film was completed within 6-9 months, just in time for their honeymoon baby.

Congrats to the new parents !!
