Jessica and Justin are planning a masquerade themed wedding on Hallowe’en later this year so I knew they loved all things “spooky” and wanted to do their engagement session with the many historic parts of Ottawa that represented the feel we were going for around the Canal and behind Parliament.
When I did the Haunted Walk of Ottawa two years prior we saw a lot of the same sites around the canal (at the Bytown Museum) and they explained how several of them were haunted, and because they had never really toured downtown Ottawa it was a fun hike with an amazing sunset behind the Parliament Buildings and beside the Fairmont Chateau Laurier.

A beautiful message Jessica sent to me after viewing her teaser on the night of the shoot
Truthfully, you have no obligation to me personally, to help me with schedules and wedding issues but having someone there to talk and assist with the experience that you have with this matter is unreal. It is so surprising and heart warming to have someone care who has no obligation, and help with all that they can. I truly will remember this once Justin and my life settles down. It will be something we will remember forever.
I have been looking at the photo of us taken in traffic. Despite all that is going on, this brought joy to my heart. It symbolizes our love and is a perfect representation of our love. Despite all the hectic traffic in our lives we still manage to overcome it with the strength and love we share for one another. It’s a beautiful photo and I thank you for something like this.
Truly you rise above others with many qualities that are exceptional and it shows an amazing character, yet a strong professionalism. Thank you. I can assure you I will speak highly of you to everyone I can. Simply stated, thank you.
Sincerely Jessica and Justin.”
